Dr. DeJarlais is known to the children as “Dr. Dan.” His goal is to provide a high standard of pediatric dental care in a kind, fun environment for infants, children, adolescents, and children with special needs.
Dr. Dan grew up in Calumet City, Illinois, and earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from Northwestern University in 1997. His certificate in pediatric dentistry was earned at Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin in 1999.
Dr. Dan enjoys running marathons, traveling, and spending time outdoors with his wife and two children.
Professionally, Dr. DeJarlais serves on committees for both the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. In addition, Dr. Dan helps teach dental residents at the Max Pohle Dental Clinic at Meriter Hospital.
Dr. DeJarlais is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. He is an active member of the American Dental Association, Wisconsin Dental Association, and the Dane County Dental Society.
